Reporter: Mr.Yahya as my first question; you are one of the most well-known adversary of the theory of evolution. The most important argument you employ in the Atlas of Creation is the existence of fossils which you claim contradicts evolution. What exactly are you referring to?
Adnan Oktar: I do not want people to be deceived. This is a very big, public lie. This is a very big disgrace. In the 21st century, in which science and technology had shown great progress, to impose such an 18th-century legend, a nonsense which actually is a pagan religion and to try to force this on the public by official power, is very ugly and shameful.. What does Darwin say? "My theory does not exist if there are no intermediary fossils". There are no intermediary fossils, and so there is no theory of evolution. It is that simple. And it is scientifically impossible for a protein to be formed by means of coincidences. In fact only these proofs are sufficient. There are a 100 million fossils proving creation- a 100 million fossils. Not even one fossil which is called intermediary fossil, which can account for evolution, which can prove the theory of evolution as mentioned by Darwin, has yet been discovered until now. I’ve said if such a thing exists I will pay 10 billion, let them bring one. I have been saying this for months. Nobody has come up with a fossil as yet.
Reporter: Another proof of creation according to you is the bigexplosion , why?
Adnan Oktar: Yes, the big bang is true, a big explosion took place 10 billion, 15 billion years ago. Before that there was no time or space. That’s what the Qur'an says. The truth that is told by the Qur'an had been discovered by science 1400 years later. The people living in the time of our Prophet were not aware of these things. They were not known for centuries. Allah says in the Qur’an that He created the whole of the universe from nothing. That is the way to explain the big bang. This whole universe came about as a result of the explosion of an object with zero mass, with infinite expansion. The scientists say that there was no time or space. If there was no time or space, if the mass was zero that means that there was a nothingness. From nothing suddenly existence emerged. As such what the Qur’an has said has been proved to be true.
Reporter: Do you think that Darwin constitutes a true danger. A danger that brought different doctrines like the Nazism and also the attacks of September 11th and such, , are these the conclusions you draw?
Adnan Oktar: This is a scientific truth. They say so themselves. For example, Mao has said: Darwin is the base of Chinese Socialism and it relies upon Darwin’s theory of evolution. What more can be said? That is very clear. All terrorists, all anarchists take Darwinism as their basic idea, as their basic faith.
Reporter: You have sent quite a few copies of your Atlas of Creation to recipients across the world, particularly to schools. Why did you target schools in particular, what was the aim of that?
Adnan Oktar: We have sent copies to the professors, the lecturers working there to show them the truth and the facts. These people have been fooled, but now they have discovered the truth. In all of the world, Darwinism is experiencing a tremendous collapse. In Britain, in the States, in France, everywhere it is collapsing. At the moment, saying I am a Darwinist has reached the stage of a shameful confession. It used to be the exact opposite.
Reporter: What is your goal exactly? Is it to establish the validity of the Kuran on the same universal level as science?
Adnan Oktar: This is a state which provides the Jews to be more determined in their beliefs. That is because Darwinism and Judaism cannot exist side by side. Christianity cannot exist side by side with Darwinism either. Christianity in an environment in which Darwinism does not exist will be stronger and healthier. The absence of Darwinism strengthen Judaism, the absence of Darwinism will also strengthen Islam. That is what I have achieved. I am respectful towards all religions.
Reporter: So if Darwinism does not exist any more, will it be the victory of the religions? Does this also mean if Darwinism do exist, the religions would be less likely to survive?
Adnan Oktar: It is the victory of the truth. I mean, it is the stopping a lie, it means stopping people being fooled. It will be the victory of honesty. It will also be the defeat of the lie.
Reporter: Alright. An important debate which is raging all around now, in the States, over here, do you think the teaching of creationism should be next to evolutionism in the schools?
Adnan Oktar: All the aberrations which occurred in history should be taught. Fascism, Communism, Sumerian pagan religions, Egyptian ancient pagan religions, all these should be taught, as general culture. This is a leftover from ancient Egypt, this Darwinism is a leftover pagan religion from ancient Sumeria. This needs to be known as a matter of general cultural knowledge. It needs to be explained how such funny, illogical theories were able to deceive people, what was their historical appearance.
Reporter: Is there a link between the American creationists active the intelligent Design and the Islamic Creationism?
Adnan Oktar: To tell you the truth, there is one type of creationism in the world, and that is our type. As far as I can remember the creationism is existence in the States has been around since 1971, but is has not been effective at all. I mean, it did not make a dent in Darwinism’s armor. But, once we attacked it, Darwinism collapsed, it is now in a state of knock out. It is lying flat on the ground. You need to hit it in the correct manner, from a scientific point of view, from a rational point of view. Thanks to Allah, I was a means for Allah to strike flawlessly at its core, and now we have achieved a perfect victory. Darwinism has been defeated in the purest sense of the word.
Reporter: Why do you defend creationism to such a degree?
Adnan Oktar: Because Allah exists. People are suffering for nothing, they are in pain, have turned the world into a hell. The existence of Allah, of heaven renders people happy, it is very important. Living forever is a joy, a great pleasure. People think they will disappear like cockroaches when they die, a great part of humanity thinks this way. This a tremendous form of torture, and it is painful. But it is not like that at all. I mean, there is an endless life, I want to spread this happy tiding to the people. It is a shame that they deceive themselves and live inside this nightmare and that they bring this world as well as the next world into a disastrous state. I am telling them the good news that Allah has given them. I am telling the good news which is recounted in the Kuran, in the Torah, and in the Bible. If they are pious, they will live in a way which is full of love, peace, mercy, friendship, brotherhood. And in such a surrounding, absolute democracy will prevail. The other way, all these shameful things you see happen. The Darwinist mentality has reduced the world to this state. And in the end, this economic crisis has started. The root of this economic crisis is again Darwinism. Egoism. Darwinist education has turned this world into a flood and now they cannot save themselves. The only possible solution is to liberate ourselves from Darwinism, to liberate ourselves from selfishness and egoism and to live in accordance with the morality of religion. And then wealth and opulence will prevail.
Reporter: As for my last question, is this just a way for you to establish a religious power in the world?
Adnan Oktar: No, I am simply showing the truth. I am a pious Muslim who is living his own faith. But I have great sympathy for all pious people. I love Christians, Jews, and Muslims. But I am opposed to playing tricks on them, I am opposed to misleading them. Just like it is the duty of a reasonable wise man to oppose to Fascism, just like it is acceptable and necessary to oppose to Stalinist, wild communist ideology, to oppose shedding blood, it is the duty of a human being to demolish a perverted system like Darwinism which bases on lies and which gives rise to these nefarious philosophies. It is a duty for every reasonable human being.

Adnan Oktar: Let me also say this. The time of the return of Jesus has really approached. I am also spreading the good news in this sense. This is a source of great joy for all Christians, for all Muslims. I mean, we will see the appearance of Jesus within the next 10 to 20 years. We will embrace him, Jesus will travel all around the world. He will come in his original appearance, in the same clothes, he will have a little money in his pocket, his mirror, the perfume that he carried with him, Jesus will return in his original clothes, just like he was back then.
