ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR : Yes, of course it is a place of longing. They are devoid of all blessings. They have lost all the blessings that Allah bestows. They have lost happiness and joy, and all they have is regret in all its forms. For one thing, they can see the trees of paradise, the inhabitants of paradise. And the heads of the inhabitants of hell face backward, and they are strange-looking entities like those fantastical beings they used to imagine had been subjected to mutation. They see the beauties of the inhabitants of paradise, but they see it all on a small screen. They cannot be there with them, and that means terrible suffering for them. They suffer terrible longing, but they can never leave. They can never leave hell unless Allah so chooses.

But unbelievers will be subjected to scourges on all sides. It will begin with death. The way they are dragged off will be full of pain, suffering and distress. The grave will also distress them. The people who die are wretched when they die and wretched when resurrected again, and those around them will give them no ease. The unbelievers will attack one another there. They will claim that one is responsible for another’s being there, and vice versa. There will be constant fighting and outrage there. And they will constantly torment one another. Everything in hell is unpleasant for people. I have previously described how there is fruit in hell, shaped like the head of satan, as it says in the Qur’an. The fruit will look directly at people, stare at them with hatred. These are things intended to distress, alarm and torment people.

And they will be able to see paradise. On a screen like a television. The inhabitants of paradise and hell will be able to see each other. This will make the inhabitants of paradise happy, because they will be able to compare their states. They will say that Allah could have kept them there, instead. Thanks be to Allah, I have been saved, they will say. And the inhabitants of hell will wish they had not done what they did. They will suffer such intense regret.
Reporter: Regret.
Adnan Oktar: But Allah says, They conceal their regret. He says, ”glance around them furtively”. Their pride and obstinacy will persist even there. Their immorality, pride and feelings of superiority even there, are amazing and will persist there, as well. Even though everything is clear. There the boundaries of the mind has been exceeded. and they will still persist in their excess and shamelessness. They will say, tell your Lord... They will not ask Allah to give them a blessing, but rather will say, tell your Lord... They will not contact Allah directly. They will be reluctant to address Him directly. Because of their pride and obstinacy.
