PRESENTER: Okay. Just a very quick recap or quick introduction of Mr. Harun Yahya or Adnan Oktar, to our listeners. Mr. Adnan Oktar was born in 1956, his pen name, he writes with his pen name as Harun Yahya and he is a prominent advocate of Islamic creationism in the creation vs. evolution debate. And more particularly he supports old earth creationism. He is against [atheist] zionism and freemasonry, and sees them as very interrelated movements. Though I’m sure Mr. Adnan Oktar is not an anti-semite. I’m pretty sure he is not a Jew hater. We’ll get his views along the way about life, about this whole th+eory of creationism versus evolutionary theory. So send us your questions and comment on 0876944500. My first question to you Mr.Adnan Oktar, you are a very famous personality in the Muslim world, you have written hundreds of books from what I understand. Your organization, Harun Yahya organization, produces a lot of documentaries refuting the evolutionary theory. Even though evolutionary theory is taught all over the world, as part of the curriculum from India to China, to United States, Canada, in Ireland here we have it as part of the regular curriculum. Why do you oppose? Is your theory based on scientific evidence?
ADNAN OKTAR: It is thoroughly based on scientific evidence because we use 250 million fossils as evidence. There are 250 million fossils on earth at the moment, that prove the fact of creation, and this number is increasing every moment. It is scientifically impossible for a single protein to come into existence by chance. There is extensive information regarding this in my book named Atlas of Creation. PRESENTER: Okay. That was a very quick answer. I mean explain to us and to our listeners, first of all the whole issue of the difference from your point of view, the difference between creationism and evolution and then what is Islamic creationism?
ADNAN OKTAR: Evolution theory is a pagan belief. Ancient Sumerians and ancient Egyptians also had the same beliefs. It is a pagan belief extending to the oldest periods of history. The Pharaoh of the time and the people around him believed that all people and animals came into existence from the mud of the Nile. Likewise Sumerians also had this belief and so did ancient Greeks. It is a belief lacking any scientific grounds. Similarly a so-called Islamic scholar in the name of Bin Misqawayh also advocated this notion. Darwinism, which is a masonic belief, is advocated in this way since very ancient times. But it never occurred to Darwinists that one day the truth would reveal. They hid the existence of 250 million fossils. I disclosed this truth and displayed the photographs of some of these fossils in my book and it had the impact of a bomb. This book was sent to all prominent professors, scientists and artists in America, England, France and Russia, and they all saw the truth, since we see this fact in 300 million year old fossils, 400 million year old fossils or 500 million year old fossils. Our friends also have these fossils. If Darwinists are sincere in their claims, let them bring a single transitional fossil; that is, let them bring any piece that they call transitional fossil which verifies their claims and I will give them 10 billion lira. My claim is still valid. Furthermore, if they want I can issue a document with the approval of the public notary on it. Darwinism is an utter fallacy. It is based entirely on lies, which is distant to science. The truth that we communicate is based on detailed, scientific explanations having roots in paleontology, geology, physics, chemistry and biochemistry.

Now Mr. Adnan Oktar, I mean you have set up this vast organization to defend the idea of Islamic creationism. Obviously there are opponents who must have been able to come up with some sort of a refutation of your claims and the claims that you make in your book and your web site www.harunyahya.com. But you know this whole struggle, there is a tussle between modernists and Islamists, so-called Islamists, and we can see it in Turkish political field, political area where you have the secularists who do not want any religious influence in modern society. And you claim that religion has a very much relevant role in modern society, in science, in modern thinking and for the betterment of our future. Can you explain that to our listeners?
ADNAN OKTAR: Religion teaches us realism and rationalism. It is obligatory in the Qur’an to make research and see the evidence of Allah’s existence in the light of science. Science explains us Allah’s artistry. Consequently, science and religion are interrelated. Science does not exist in the absence of religion and religion does not exist in the absence of science. This is also a phrase of Einstein and it is an expression based on the Qur’an. Religion makes people morally perfect, love one another, be friends, and become loyal, faithful, affectionate and grants people love and profundity. It makes people feel that they are human, endows people a good life and explains the beauty of the endless life. The life is not a short life. It is an endless life. Now we are living a certain part of it. When we die we will pass to our second life in which we will experience infiniteness. That is we will live in this second life for all eternity. Some people will go to Paradise while some others will go to Hell. Paradise is the abode of beauties. People will have compassion, love and affection towards one another there. Everything is intelligent there. Every object is under the command of people. You tell an object to come and it comes. Fruits are also intelligent. You tell a tree to bend and its branch bends. You pick a fruit and the same fruit comes into existence again. Paradise is a wonderful place. Hell, on the other hand, is a place where everything a person dislikes exists. People suffer there and everything that disturbs a person exists in Hell. It is a place where people with reprehensible morality suffer.
PRESENTER: Okay. Very quickly explain to us about your organization, the Harun Yahya organization. I was there in Turkey myself in a few years back, 2003 and I was very lucky to have been to the printing press where your books, CDs and DVDs are produced and have been to you know the other place your documentaries are put together, put on DVDs and so on. So tell us about a little bit about your organizational structure. How does it operate?
ADNAN OKTAR: Thanks be to Allah I have more than 300 books. Majority of them have been translated into 60foreignlanguages, yet more than 60 languages. Only in this year 80 million copies of my books have been downloaded from the internet up until now. And the same of amount of CDs. Yet the number of CDs downloaded are even higher. We have a successful , good organization. I have live programs everyday on TV which are broadcasted worldwide and across Turkey. Many people get advantage of this knowledge insha’Allah. We are in the time of Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) appearance. I am a person laying the groundwork for Hazrat Mahdi (as). In our age Hazrat Mahdi (as) has come; in 1,400 according to Islamic calendar, that is, in 1980 Hazrat Mahdi (as) has come. Meanwhile there is maximum 15-20 years to the coming of Jesus (as). Jesus (as) will come to the world again in his original appearance, the appearance he had when he was 33 years old. He will come in his same outfit. He will have long hair, a beautiful face, grey eyes. He is a very beautiful person with athletic structure. People will see him, his intelligence and moral perfection. In the time of Jesus (as) Islam will dominate the entire world. You will see all that I have told here being realized very soon insha’Allah.

He is a prominent Muslim personality in the Muslim world. Mr. Adnan Oktar would you classify yourself as a scholar, as a scholar I mean the Arabic term is “alim”. Would you classify yourself as one?
ADNAN OKTAR: No, I am one of the ordinary servants of Allah. I am only one of your Muslim brothers. I can be an author, at most.
PRESENTER: Okay. You mentioned the appearance of the Mahdi. Explain to us and listeners, who may not be familiar with this terminology or personality of the Mahdi. Who is he? Why do you say he appeared or he is already there in the year 1,400?
ADNAN OKTAR: In the Torah his name is mentioned as Messiah. He is also referred to in other Holy Books. It has also been mentioned in the books previously revealed. In the hadith our Prophet (saas) explained Hazrat Mahdi (as) in details. He is mentioned in reliable hadith books such as Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Sunan Nasahi, Sunan Dawud. It is also mentioned in Hanafi, Hanbali, Maliki, Shafi schools, that is in Sunni creed, in Shia, Jafarite and Alawite creed. In other words, this subject is mentioned in 95 percent of the Muslim community. The time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) has come. He is a blessed person from the descent of our Prophet (saas). He has appeared. His outer appearance and his outer portents have also appeared. The portents of his coming, the portents before his coming have also appeared. Let me cite a few of the portents of his coming and a few of his outer appearance. Among the portents of his coming; there is the moon and sun eclipses with 15 days apart. This has happened in Ramadan with 15 days apart. Invasion of Kaaba and bloodshed in Kaaba is a portent. This has also happened. The appearance of two comets one after another. This has also happened. I will give information about the other signs after Oktar describes these briefly.
AHMET BABUNA: So, with the permission of Mr.Adnan Oktar I will give you, some of the signs of the appearance of Mahdi and some of his physical features actually insha’Allah. These are the signs of appearance of the Mahdi stated in the hadith of our Prophet(saas). The bloody attack to the Kaaba which happened in 1979 that happened. Stopping the flow of the Euphrates mentioned in the hadith and that happened in 1975. The occupation of Afghanistan that happened in 1979.Apperance of two comets stated in the hadith. One comet Halley comet appeared in 1986. And the second one, which is two tailed described in the hadith has appeared this year lulin comet in 2009 in the month of February. And also Iran Iraq war which happened in 1980. Eclipses of the moon and sun fifteen days apart , two following years are described in the hadith, stated in the hadith of our Prophet(saas), that happened in 1981-1982, sun and moon eclipses in the month of Ramadan and 15 days apart. A sign from the sign described in the hadith that happened in 1996. Occupation of Azerbaijan that happened 1990. Destruction of Bagdad in Iraqi War that is described that happened. Iran-Iraq war was described and that happened. There are more than 150 signs described in the hadith, they have all happened. There are also some physical features of the Mahdi also ; he is a descendant from the line of the Prophet (saas). He will have a broad, his brows are broad and open. His nose is handsome. He has black hair and he has a mark scar on his forehead. He will have a slightly concavity on his forehead. Splendid eyes, he has a small nose his teeth are bright. Eyebrows are curved and he will have a deep single dip in his eye brows. He will have a bright complexion. For example his hair is black as I have said. And his beard is plentiful and thick. And he will come having a beautiful visage. He will resemble the children of Israel in appearance. He is Arab in coloring. The blessed Mahdi(as) resembles one of the sons of Israel. The Mahdi is a medium stature. The body is broad. His thighs are long his stomach is wide. He will be around 30 when he appears. He will have a black mark on his right leg. And he will have the same nevus with our Prophet on his back and he will have a second mole in his back also like a leaflet. He is a majestic individual. He has a very powerful body and voice and Mahdi will resemble the prophets in many ways. So he possesses the forbearance of Prophet David(as), the patience of the Prophet Eyup, and has the morality of our Prophet (saas). So he described in the hadith in a very detailed way, his physical signs also.
PRESENTER: Okay, very quick question from texter Muhammad Ali probably from Dublin... He is texting from Dublin. He is asking “Do you have any institute to train people for dawa, dawa meaning calling for people?” Are you an evangelical organization, that evangelizes about Islam and invites people to Islam?
ADNAN OKTAR: We see everyone, Evangelists, Orthodox Christians, Protestants as our brothers. Also Jews... We will of course be in an ideological struggle against atheism, freemasonry, communism, fascism and all sorts of systems of violence that make people unhappy. Because they are the People of the Book they are our brothers. They are referred to as the People of the Book in the Qur’an. It is the duty of Muslims to protect, watch over and help them. We are responsible of fulfilling this duty. It was also so in our Prophet’s (saas) time.

Also on the phone is with us, we are joined by Mr. Adnan Oktar, he is speaking in the Turkish language but Dr. Ahmet Babuna is translating for us. Thank you very much both of you for doing that. Now, I’m sure you must be very busy. But here very quickly, give us your life’s background because there are a few questions that are being raised here to me through the text messages that I’m getting. One of them says that Harun Yahya is a cult like organization that jealously guards the secrets of his considerable wealth... Is that true?
ADNAN OKTAR: No. I am a very sincere person. My friends are also very sincere people. We are all people who fear Allah and love Him very much and live by the Qur’an. We belong to the Hanafi school. We also have 7-8 Shafi brothers, belonging to the Shafi school. That is, all our brothers are Sunni. We have a few Alawi brothers. They are also very precious for us. We have nothing to hide. We are very open to love, compassion, affection. We are good-intentioned people who are open to argument, who advocate democratic thinking and freedom, who think freely. We also accept all good-intentioned and sincere people as friends and brothers. Such notions are only hearsay spread by freemasons. Not being able to cope with us, freemasons hatched conspiracies and plots against us and libeled us. We were acquitted from all of them. They put me in mental institution and called me insane. They kept me in mental institution for ten months but the Military hospital issued a report verifying my physical and spiritual well-being. Besides, the Forensic Medicine Supreme Board issued another report about my physical and spiritual well-being and thus they could not achieve their goal with the plot they hatched. They schemed a cocaine plot. They mixed cocaine into my food and drink while I was held in police station. Yet the Forensic Medicine proved that the cocaine was mixed in my food and drink and that it was a plot. So I was acquitted in the Court. I met tens of such plots and conspiracies. I faced nine assassinations committed with weapons. By Allah’s leave I was rescued from all of them. I was forced to remain under the most indecent conditions and I was chained from my foot. But I thanked Allah all the time. These are the ordinary events that Muslims face. In the Qur’an it is also stated that those struggling in the way of Allah face such difficulties.
PRESENTER: We have a texter from here in Dublin calls himself JJ says, “Being to the web site of Harun Yahya, Mr. Harun Yahya looks like he is the Godfather of a gang.” Mr. Harun Yahya, how would you respond to such a question?
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, there has been such a case about me. But the Public Prosecutor declared there exists no evidence whatsoever in the case file against me and my friends. Besides, we stated that the claims in the file were taken by the police under torture. Indeed eleven Forensic Medicine reports prove that I and my friends were subjected to torture. Besides the Public Prosecutor said that our statements were taken in the absence of advocates, under torture and thus these statements are invalid. He further added that the same Court tried these person, my friends previously and the majority of them were acquitted so these people had to be acquitted in the same way since it was the same file, the same claims and the same evidence. Despite this, the Court sentenced me, my friends including some of our girlfriends among whom are also Ahmet’s wife, to 3 years imprisonment and decreed that we are a crime organization. The case is sent to the Supreme Court now. But these explanations of the Public Prosecutor are also important and we need to think over them too.
PRESENTER: Of course the issue of the debate between Islamic creationism and the evolution theory is very long debate. We don’t want to get into that at the moment because unfortunately we don’t have anyone contrary argue on behalf of the evolutionary theory. However we want to get into a few things we want to look. Because you are a very prominent Muslim personality in the world we’d like to understand you vision for this world, for the future as a Muslim activist as well as a very prominent Muslim personality in the world. What is your vision for the future of this world?
ADNAN OKTAR: Islam will dominate the world in this century. There are 3 verses in the Qur’an regarding the return of Jesus (as). In two of these verses it is stated that Islam will dominate the world and everyone will have faith in Allah during the time of the Prophet Jesus(as). On the other hand, by Allah’s leave, the Doomsday will take place around 2120. Everything will happen in this century. This is called the Golden Age. We will live in a beautiful, blissful, joyful century insha’Allah. People will live with love, joy, bliss, as brothers. An utter social justice will reign. Faith in Allah will dominate the world. The beauty of Islam, the concept of love will infiltrate all hearts, all spirits, and while people will live with such happiness, there will be a reversion to an age of corruption. And around 2120 the Doomsday will take place insha’Allah. There are verses and hadith in this regard. And there are explanations in the Qur’an. I suggest my brothers to refer to www.harunyahya.com since these are very comprehensive subjects.
PRESENTER: Okay. There are claims that there are more and more Islamisized. Do you think this is a good thing for Turkey? Do you think Islamization of Turkey will prevent Turkey to join the European Union? Will this lead to a clash of civilization?
ADNAN OKTAR: No, no. On the contrary, we are heading towards a beauty which will unite the civilizations. Turkey will be the leader of the Turkish Islamic world. It will also unite with the EU. But EU will also unite with the Turkish Islamic Union. This way they will live as brothers in an environment of peace. All weapons will be removed. Not a single person’s nose will bleed. That is related in the hadith. Not a single blood will be spilled and not a single weapon will remain on the face of the Earth. We find a lot of details about these subjects in the hadith. We are heading towards an age of beauty. Yet, just like our Prophet (saas) and his companions had been slandered and insulted, in this age people also defame me and my friends who struggle in the path of Allah. No one should be affected by them. They are very typical since this is related in the Qur’an as events that Muslims will encounter. The other party always engages in such acts. They should wait for the end, for the end will be very blissful insha’Allah.
PRESENTER: Okay. We have two questions from a texter. First of all he is asking, he is Mohammad Ali again, he is from Dublin and his question is “What is your opinion about jihad and by that he means, war fields, basically he is asking about jihad and the claim of jihad that’s going on in Afghanistan and Somalia and other parts of the world. And his second question is who will be the helpers of Jesus when he comes back in the last time?
ADNAN OKTAR: Jihad means “to struggle”, “to make effort”. That is what we do. We call people to Islam, to the Qur’an and the truth by means of scientific, cultural works, by convincing people, with love, affection, in a friendly, brotherly manner. We also refute misconceptions of Darwinists and materialists again by means of scientific evidence. This method is already the method of the Qur’an. We employ Qur’an’s method with love and exuberance insha’Allah. Jesus (as), on the other hand, will be left in a state of sleep in a Christian community which is reminiscent of Islam. He will come in his original state. he will be 33 years-old when he comes, he will come with all his beauty and glory. But when he first comes he will not know that he is Jesus (as) himself. His close students will know him by the light of faith, insha’Allah. Jesus (as) will mostly be influential in politics and reveal himself through a gradual process of activity. He will be in the position of a teacher of the world’s great leaders, political leaders, great military commanders. He will direct them and keep them under his control. Consequently he will make Islam prevail the world. He will perform salat together with Hazrat Mahdi (as). There is a hadith related to this. He will gently push him forward to make him lead the salat and they will perform the prayer together. Then Islam will dominate the entire world insha’Allah.
PRESENTER: Okay. Very quickly there are some certain allegations or certain comments that you, Mr. Adnan Oktar has, you denied the existence of the Holocaust. Is that true?
ADNAN OKTAR: Darwinist Nazis committed a comprehensive Holocaust both against Jews and clergy. A great violence has been committed. I explained this in details in my works and books and still continue to explain. There was freemasonry behind Nazis. Freemasonry is the worldwide system of dajjal (anti-christ). The worldwide system of dajjal wanted to wipe the sons of the Prophet Abraham(as), the sons of the Prophet Moses (as) from the face of the world. But Allah ruined their plot. Sons of the Prophet Abraham (as) will insha’Allah live until the Doomsday and I do try to protect and watch over them as much as I can. Sanhedrin Rabbis come here as my guests. I have called them once again and they will be coming in the days to come. I host them and do my best for their peace, security and comfort. Just as how I am in such an effort for my Christian and Muslim brothers, I do the same for them. You can refer to my book, Holocaust Violence for this subject.
PRESENTER: Okay. What is your opinion about what happened earlier this year when Israel blatantly attacked mercilessly on the Palestinians? What is your opinion about that?
ADNAN OKTAR: It is the Israeli freemasons who perpetrate this. Genuine Jews are very compassionate and merciful. They fear Allah and never come close to such cruelty. In Israel devout people are subjected to oppression, very much cruelty. Israeli masons also tyrannize over them. But in other corners of the world too they tyrannize over people. These freemasons who are atheist-zionists continue such cruelty. But we are explaining them that these people are on the wrong way, and describing it to them. Insha’Allah they will regret it later and find the true path.
PRESENTER: Okay. Two final questions. One question again from Mohammad Ali’s. He is asking “ do you think the war on terror was actually a war on Islam?” and a question from myself, actually not a question but a request. What would be your final comments, message to our listeners?
ADNAN OKTAR: There is freemasonry behind the terror committed under the guise of Islam. These people are those who have gone through Darwinist, materialist, Marxist education. They used to be trained in Iraq, Syria. You know previously Stalinist administrations were in power in Iraq and Syria. The government held Stalinist views. They are the people inherited from that time. They have undergone Darwinist, materialist education in Europe, England, America. Consequently these people do not have human love, fear and love of Allah. It is not right to introduce these cruel people to the people as Muslims. These are ignorant people. I pray that Allah grants these people guidance and open their minds. Make them abandon these cruel views. We try to educate these people culturally, by means of our Internet sites. Insha’Allah they will be guided and find the true path. And I send my love and respect to all Muslims. They should not make discrimination between Wahabi, Shia or Sunni. They should love one another very dearly. We are all brothers and we will be together in the Hereafter. Our brothers should also be affectionate and full of love towards Christians and Jews. I send my greetings to all of them.
