(From the interview on Dem TV, October 23rd, 2009)
PRESENTER-I: Establishing communication with other beings…
ADNAN OKTAR: For example, I learn things directly from the djinn. Or I have. I am saying this to you for the first time.
PRESENTER-II: How?
ADNAN OKTAR: Like this, for instance. There was an incident, a criminal incident. The djinn told me the accused were in Polonezkoy. And we told the police. The police said that was right. They were there, in Polonezkoy.
PRESENTER-I: Was that Polonezkoy matter a case concerned with Ergenekon?
ADNAN OKTAR: No, it was something else. And the djinn said they had gone to Erenkoy at that moment. And that was true.
PRESENTER-II: Did someone tell you that?
ADNAN OKTAR: A djinn?
PRESENTER-II: I mean did a djinn tell you?
ADNAN OKTAR: No, not to me directly. I have a technique I use, but I can’t tell you.
PRESENTER-II: Is that so?
ADNAN OKTAR: I can tell you specially.
PRESENTER-I: For example, now the question of extraterrestrial beings has come up…
ADNAN OKTAR: But it is true. It is amazing, and they even gave names. There was one incident with a secret witness. It gave the name. It said it was him. It is really true. His name had never been heard. It gave the original names and it all came true. And I wrote down seven numbers. I wrote them down myself and folded it up. It knew the numbers one after the other. I asked what I had written and it knew. That is really astonishing.
PRESENTER-I: How do you make contact? How does that happen? Do you talk face to face? Do you see them?
ADNAN OKTAR: No. Human beings cannot bear to look at them. I can, but other people cannot bear it. They are terrified of them. Utterly terrified.
PRESENTER-II: So you have seen them?
ADNAN OKTAR: Let me say this. Human beings fear them. But it will happen, it will happen in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Contact will be made with the djinn, but society will gradually be made used to the idea. If they see them directly they will be terrified. They were around in the time of the Prophet Sulayman (as). People would see them. The djinn used to move among people. But people got used to them. They were no longer afraid. But since this would be sudden they would be afraid now.
PRESENTER-II: Could you tell us something about what it says in the Qur’an? About the djinn.
ADNAN OKTAR: Surat al-Jinn is about the djinn. Djinn have to be well taught. Their heads are generally a bit up in the air. They are rather like birds. And there are Christians among them, and Muslims and Armenians. But they are at loggerheads and in conflict with one another. Faith has only recently developed among them. Islam is only now developing. The number of Muslims among them has only very recently increased. And they are amazed by our cities. At human beings’ cities and cars. They are amazed. The djinn feed on water. That appears in a verse of the Qur’an. They live in houses but generally tend not to disturb anyone. In other words, there is no need for people to fear them. They live in houses, in a corner of the house. They live in ceiling corners as whole families. But they never hurt anyone. But they are very short attention spans. They have enough intelligence to come and go, and when it comes to faith they listen to the Qur’an very attentively. They are very sensitive to the Qur’an. They love it very much but have to be patiently and carefully taught. If their faith is strengthened they are then able to give more accurate and rational answers. If their faith is weak they raise a lot of problems. They give very unbalanced, irrelevant answers in that case. But if trained on the subject of fear of Allah they are very kind, and many people summon them. But they deceive them and generally lie to them.
PRESENTER-II: Our guest the other day was Keto. You know him. He said he had contacts in the other world. What can you tell us about that? Are you in touch with the other world...?
ADNAN OKTAR: It is impossible for me to contact the other world. Allah says there is a curtain between the worlds in one verse. It is absolutely impossible. It is impossible for a dead person to return to Earth. The verses say so.
PRESENTER-II: But you are in communication.
PRESENTER-I: She is talking about the djinn.
PRESENTER-II: I mean the djinn.
ADNAN OKTAR: All right.
PRESENTER-II: We are speaking of the djinn.
ADNAN OKTAR: America uses the djinn, the CIA uses them.
PRESENTER-I: That is what I was going to say.
ADNAN OKTAR: All intelligence services use djinn. Djinn are not such a secret matter. It was the djinn that caused the huge growth in technology in the time of the Prophet Sulayman (as). Djinn are hugely knowledgeable. A huge technology grew up in the time of the Prophet Sulayman (as). An astonishing technology. Thanks to the djinn.
PRESENTER-I: I would like to ask whether they can provide information about the future?
ADNAN OKTAR: No. They have no such power, but they know all about the past. They can say where something is hidden, if it is important. Something sometimes gets lost at home, and when I ask they tell me where it is. But it is wrong to disturb them too much. That tires their brains and they become unhappy when asked too many questions. If it is something that will mean a huge material gain, they will not go into that, but they will tell you about a small thing, by Allah’s leave. Almighty Allah says that things happen by His leave. Allah has to give His permission. The person doing the summoning therefore has to be a sincere Muslim with the best of intentions. It cannot be with the aim of hurting anyone else or destroying anything, that is forbidden to the djinn. May Allah forbid! Allah would turn that into a scourge on the summoner’s head. It has to be done with good intentions.
PRESENTER-II: When you communicate, do you ask questions or do they give you warnings?
ADNAN OKTAR: Do the djinn threaten me? No, they respect me. No question of that.
PRESENTER-II: By warning you, I mean do they tell you of a bad thing that will happen? Or do you have to ask?
ADNAN OKTAR: There were two incidents. We had a female friend who was kidnapped. The djinn told me the whole route she had taken, in great detail, saying just where she was. And that turned out to be spot on. The djinn said they had changed cars, and that was true. It said they had changed cars during the kidnapping. It said the area where she was held and everything. I ask them when it is really important. I only ask them important things.

PRESENTER: How do the djinn contact you?
ADNAN OKTAR: I cannot reveal that secret. But I am not alone. I have a team involved in it.
PRESENTER: One viewer has asked, “They say there are good and evil djinn. And that they are jealous. Are djinn the reason for your not getting married?”
ADNAN OKTAR: No. My master Said Nursi tells his special students not to marry. I am following him. The djinn cannot tell me what to do. I tell the djinn.
PRESENTER: Do they ever upset you?
ADNAN OKTAR: No. The djinn really like me, a lot. They can ask those people who summon djinn. They speak very positively and in an amazing way. There is a real love between me and the djinn. But irreligious djinn do speak in an unbalanced way as a rule, strangely and inconsistently, and they tell lies. There are also Armenians among them. And Catholic djinn. That is set out in the Qur’an. It says they are members of many different schools. People can look at Surat al-Jinn and see.
But there are currently very few Muslim djinn. Their numbers have only now begun rising. Just 3-4 years ago I had met only a few. There was one very old djinn. He must have been 1000 or 1400 years old. They said he had died. I used to learn things from it. But then that information stopped. There are a few new ones. But they are very honest. We can do an experiment before the eyes of the press one day.
PRESENTER: Let us do that. Let’s do it next time. Let’s do it on Dem TV. That would be different.
ADNAN OKTAR: But let us ask them and see what they say.
PRESENTER: Let me ask this. You say they always look frightening. Would a normal person, me for instance or a friend of mine, really be frightened by their appearance?
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, of course. Normal people could not bear it. May Allah forbid. They would be terrified. That is why they seldom see them. Almost not at all.
PRESENTER: At this point a viewer is asking how they reproduce. Like human beings?
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, they live in homes. They live in the roofs. They do not have household goods, but they have no difficulty in going from one place to another. That is why they are amazed by cars and buses and technology. They are unable to understand why they were invented. Nov 21, 2009
