RAMADAN 2006 The 6th Day

An Ayat

O Humanity! You are the poor in need of Allah whereas Allah is the Rich Beyond Need, the Praiseworthy.

(Surah Fatir:15)

A Hadith

“There are three signs of a hypocrite: when he speaks he speaks lies, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is trusted he betrays his trust. ”

(Bukhari)

  EXAMPLES TO LIVING FOSSILS:

WILLOW

Age: 54 to 37 million years old

Location: Uintah County, Utah, USA

Formation: Green River Formation

Period: Eocene

As is the case with all other living things, the fossil record reveals that plants too have remained unchanged for millions of years. Today's plants have the same systems and mechanisms they did millions of years ago. Millions of fossils unearthed from all over the world refute the theory of evolution, revealing that plants have not gone through an evolution but were created.

OAK LEAF

Age: 45 million years old

Size: 30 millimeters (1.18 in) height; matrix: 60 millimeters (2.3 in) by 60 millimeters (2.3 in), 15 millimeters (0.59 in) thick

Location: Green River Formation, Wyoming

Period: Eocene

Fossil records reveal that plants never underwent any evolutionary process and have no imaginary ancestors. Fish have always remained fish, birds have always remained birds, spiders have always remained as spiders, pines and spruces have always remained pines and spruces, and roses have always remained roses. And just like all these living beings, oaks have always remained as oaks, as the oak leaf fossil pictured confirms.

  THE NAMES OF ALLAH:

AL-ADL
The Just, The Equitable

You who believe! Show integrity for the sake of Allah, bearing witness with justice. Do not let hatred for a people incite you into not being just. Be just. That is closer to faith. Heed Allah (alone). Allah is aware of what you do. (Qur'an, 5:8)

Allah is the best of those who are just. The scale of His justice fills the whole universe. He will bring justice to His servants, in this world and the next. Allah, the All-Hearing, All-Knowing, and All-Aware, directs the whole universe with ultimate wisdom and justice.

Everything that people do throughout their lives will be weighed in the light of Allah’s infinite justice. Allah has revealed in the Qur’an that wrongdoers will not go unpunished for their wrongdoing, and that even a single good word will be rewarded. Good and evil are not the same in the sight of Allah, and He rules between them with total justice.

The place where the infinite justice of Allah is most clearly to be seen is the hereafter.

It is sure that Allah is He who forgets nothing, the most faithful to His promises. Every human being, without exception, will be recompensed in the hereafter for his deeds in this world. Those who commit evil will be punished for it, and those who believe in Allah and do good deeds will receive the best possible reward from Him.

  THE EVOLUTION DECEIT:

Darwin's Source Of Inspiration: Malthus's Theory of Ruthlessness

Darwin's source of inspiration on this subject was the British economist Thomas Malthus's book An Essay on the Principle of Population. Left to their own devices, Malthus calculated that the human population increased rapidly. In his view, the main influences that kept populations under control were disasters such as war, famine and disease. In short, according to this brutal claim, some people had to die for others to live. Existence came to mean "permanent war."

In the 19th century, Malthus's ideas were widely accepted. European upper class intellectuals in particular supported his cruel ideas. In the article "The Scientific Background of the Nazi 'Race Purification' Programme", the importance 19th century Europe attached to Malthus's views on population is described in this way:

In the opening half of the nineteenth century, throughout Europe, members of the ruling classes gathered to discuss the newly discovered "Population problem" and to devise ways of implementing the Malthusian mandate, to increase the mortality rate of the poor: "Instead of recommending cleanliness to the poor, we should encourage contrary habits. In our towns we should make the streets narrower, crowd more people into the houses, and court the return of the plague. In the country we should build our villages near stagnant pools, and particularly encourage settlements in all marshy and unwholesome situations,"and so forth and so on. (Theodore D. Hall, The Scientific Background of the Nazi Race Purification Program, http://www.trufax.org/avoid/nazi.html)

As a result of this cruel policy, the weak, and those who lost the struggle for survival would be eliminated, and as a result the rapid rise in population would be balanced out. This so-called "oppression of the poor" policy was actually carried out in 19th century Britain. An industrial order was set up in which children of eight and nine were made to work sixteen hours a day in the coal mines and thousands died from the terrible conditions. The "struggle for survival" demanded by Malthus's theory led to millions of Britons leading lives full of suffering.

Influenced by these ideas, Darwin applied this concept of conflict to all of nature, and proposed that the strong and the fittest emerged victorious from this war of existence. Moreover, he claimed that the so-called struggle for survival was a justified and unchangeable law of nature. On the other hand, he invited people to abandon their religious beliefs by denying the Creation, and thus undermined at all ethical values that might prove to be obstacles to the ruthlessness of the "struggle for survival."

Humanity has paid a heavy price in the 20th century for the dissemination of these callous views, which lead people to acts of ruthlessness and cruelty.

THE SIGNS LEADING TO FAITH :

Luminescent Underwater Creatures

Many underwater creatures, possess systems as fireflies do for producing light. They generally use their light to stupefy or frighten their enemies. Almost all of them have series of cells along their backs like seams of a fabric and these cells can produce light. Now let's have a look at the general characteristics of these creatures.

One of these species is an animal that looks like a jellyfish. They generally feed on small marine animals and plants that are invisible to the naked eye. Some seize their prey by use of their sticky tentacles, which move in water like a fishing line. Members of another species have such large mouths that they can open them wide and swallow many creatures. They have series of thin hairs on their bodies, which they use to propel themselves forward in the water.

Luminescent creatures have some other extraordinary traits. For example, some red species shine when they are struck, and can leave glitteringly illuminated particles in the water. This is a way to confuse, and thus to escape from, their enemies.

The most interesting feature of luminescent marine creatures is probably the fact that they use their light to mislead others. A starfish species is a good example of this. This starfish species lives about 1,000 metres (3,280 feet) deep in the sea. It emits bright green-blue light from the tip of its arms. This gleaming warning notifies its enemies that it is not tasty. Another starfish species starts flashing when it is attacked and detaches and throws one of its arms towards the enemy to divert it. The attention of its enemy is distracted by the torn arm, which still emits white light. In the meantime the starfish finds the time to flee.

As we have seen in the few examples given above, the mechanisms in living creatures that enable them to produce light demonstrate to us the perfect creation of Allah. What have been mentioned here are creatures that live underwater, the dominant component of whose bodies is usually water and that cannot possibly have intelligence like that of human beings. Yet each possesses such wonderful features that it astonishes us to know about them. This reveals that Allah originates things matchlessly. These examples are in order to make us comprehend that there is no other god besides Allah, the Creator of everything. One who understands this will comprehend Allah's infinite might and will strive only to earn Allah's good pleasure.

Remember that Allah informs us in a verse that those who dare to associate other gods with Allah will be forsaken:

Do not set up any other god together with Allah and so sit there reviled and forsaken. (Surat al-Isra’: 22)

  BOOK OF THE DAY:

Darwinism's Social Weapon

Everyone is aware and agreed that the twentieth century was one of the darkest and most deadly in the history of mankind, when vast amounts of blood were spilled and people were subjected to the most terrible fear and oppression.

What is generally not realised, however, is the “real intellectual concept” that propelled the twentieth century to such chaos, war and conflict and caused such hatred and enmity among people. That “real intellectual concept” is the Social Darwinism that first emerged in the nineteenth century. In this book you will discover the full truth about these errors and witness, with detailed evidence, the danger posed by the perverted propaganda of Social Darwinism.
